After many seasons of minimal ratings in the 7pm hour, FOX is moving "King of the Hill" to 8:30 on Sundays, following the current season of "The Simpsons". FOX is also pushing American Dad back to its 9:30, post Family Guy home, and shipping ratings-challenged "The War at Home" to the almost-definite DOA position after "Til Death" on Thursdays.

Being someone who has always enjoyed King of the Hill when he saw it, I think it's a great decision. If only they had done this for "Futurama" six years ago, though.

Hopefully FOX has finally realized that 7pm is not an hour for original programming.

I am not aware of why they never did this earlier, like when King of the Hill was actually popular 15 million thousand years ago.

Seriously. They probably decided to move it since the ratings (no matter how tiny) were actually up from last season.

The most recent episodes of KOTH still has top-notch writing.

I bet there are going to be people thinking that King of the Hill is coming back on the air for the first time in six years.
