Please welcome the star of the hit drama "24 and a Half Men", Mr. X!
Thank you...
The laugh-track sitcom might be as good as dead. Judging by the four nominees in this category, the viewing audience of television prefers the single-camera comedy, as opposed to hearing laughs when something “funny†occurs. The 13-episode final season of the tragically underwatched Arrested Development has four of the eight nominees, including the series finale, “Harbouring Resentmentâ€Â. 3 of the other 4 nominees belong to the hit NBC remake “The Officeâ€Â, which proves that not all remakes suck. Standing alone with the other nomination is “Scrubsâ€Â, a series that never quite found an audience on NBC. Here now are the nominees:
Excellence in a Single Episode, Comedy
-For British Eyes Only, Arrested Development
-Harbouring Resentment, Arrested Development
-S.O.B.s, Arrested Development
-The Ocean Walker, Arrested Development
-The Injury, The Office
-The Fire, The Office
-Casino Night, The Office
-My Lunch, Scrubs
And the winner is…

It's actually the same. Development Arrested is also known as Harbouring Resentment.
Sorry for the confusion!

Drama. Suspense. Action. Emotional. And a little touch of humor. That sums up the nominees for the category “Excellence in a Single Episode, Dramaâ€Â. -All The Time in the World; Alias
-It's The End Of The World...; Grey's Anatomy

What were you rooting for? I can't remember what I voted for, but all of the nominees deserved to win.

At the end of the show, I'll post the numbers that each nominee received in every category. I'm telling you, a lot of close calls.

The opening sequences of a TV show can set the tone for the series. Some of the nominees feature hit songs as the background to the opening, while other nominees have simple, ten-second opening sequences, that are equally as effective. Quantity does not always equal quality, and this category is proof. Here are the eight nominees for Excellence in an Opening Sequence:
Excellence in an Opening Sequence
-CSI
-House
-Lost
-Rescue Me
-Six Feet Under
-24
-Veronica Mars
-Weeds
And the winner is…

Might be a bit of a backlash against that win, but the votes were with 24.

Reality television is here to stay. It doesn’t matter if they’re stranded on an island, locked inside a house, or singing the song that could launch their careers, the nominated contestants stood out on their reality TV seasons. It doesn’t always matter if you win, and that’s proven by the nominees in this category, none of which won their respective competitions. Here are the nominees:
Excellence in Gameplay, Reality/Game Show Contestant
-Katharine McPhee, American Idol
-Paris Bennett, American Idol
-Chris Daughtery, American Idol
-Elliot Yamin, American Idol
-Kaysar, Big Brother 6
-Cirie, Survivor
-Terry, Survivor
-Sally, Survivor
And the winner is…

Just because Survivor and Idol controlled seven of the nominees, doesn't mean the underdog can't win!

Well, the actual opening is similar to the "Lost" opening, and lasts about ten seconds. But, it's effective. Wasn't my vote, but I don't oppose.

The season finale ties up the loose ends, while simultaneously opening new doors to the following season and beyond. The series finale puts an end to everything, whether the finale was expected (Six Feet Under) or untimely (Arrested Development). Four nominees are season finales, while the other three or series enders. Here are the nominees:
Excellence in a Special Episode, Series or Season Finale
-Alias
-Arrested Development
-Lost
-The Office
-Six Feet Under
-24
-Veronica Mars
And the winner is…

Since I've never seen an episode of Lost, that doesn't help.
