Post subject:  The 'Survivor: Exile Island' Thread

Remember that Episode in the Palau season where Janu got exiled to an island? That episode was called "Exile Island".

Survivor 12 is in Panama and is called Exile Island. This is the third time Survivor has been filmed in Panama (Palau and All-Stars).

According to Probst: (http://p085.ezboard.com/fsurvivorsucksf ... 2624.topic)

NOT A HEAVY SPOILER JUST TALKS ABOUT WHAT "EXILE ISLAND" MEANS:

[spoil]
Quote:
Jeff Probst on KCBS News tonight after the Reunion show:

"The next Survivor has a great twist. We have an island called Exile Island, and the idea was: every week we're going to send one survivor on their own to exile. So, not only will you have to be on this island having to deal with the rain, and the bugs, and no food, you're away from camp, which is where the game is played. And the flipside is...is that somewhere hidden out there is hidden immunity idol. So while you're out there trying to endure the conditions, you're digging around trying to find this thing. And it turned out to be a great twist."

"This next season is really likeable group [in contrast to Guatemala's feistier group] and the whole notion of Exile Island puts some people in peril. It's a tough...it's tough when you get sent to this island, it's hard."
[/spoil]

Apparently this time there are only 16 Survivors.

Apparently the way the tribes are set up is....

[spoil]There are 3 tribes[/spoil]

And I've read some (NON SPECIFIC) theories that:

[spoil]The person voted off is Exiled to the Island and has a certain period of time to find the Immunity necklace hidden on the island in order to get back into the game[/spoil]

Survivor: Exile Island starts Febuary 6, 2006 on CBS.

I hope this thread isn't too early

Again with Panama? I think you mean "Pearl Islands" and "All-Stars", not "Palau". Fairly certain that they called it Pearl Islands because one of the international versions of Survivor had a Panama edition.

Sounds good to me. Hopefully it's better than the last four seasons.

I liked All-Stars, sorta.. it was gimmicky, but good. Of the last four seasons All-Stars was the best.

This season sounds decent, though that Jeff comment sounds like they're all joyous and softies.

For the record, I loved All-Stars. Palau was decent, Guatelemala was alright too, but I disliked the slow and predicting ending. Vanuatu sucked nuts.
