Now, I know other people must watch this show besides me.

Love it!

Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni are great.

Another show that I always had on last season, but didn't know why, but it was enjoyable. Chris Meloni is a punk, and I'd love to see him knocked down the next time he gets in somebody's face. I never really thought much of Mariska Hargitay in the looks department, as she doesn't play it up for the show's character, but she's HOT!!! when she wants to be. Hotter than her mom ever was. (Jayne Mansfield, for those who don't don't)

Last week Robert Patrick was a very effective guest star, and last year I thought it was better than Law and Order, so I'm going to continue watching this season, althought tonight it's viewing by me will be postponed due to TAR8

Ok, Libs, I have to ask. What the heck did you edit 5 times in the first post? It looks exactly the same as the first time I read it.

I've been reading some stuff about Robert Patrick, lately. He play's Johnny Cash's father in Walk the Line, and was just cast in Clint Eastwood's Flags of Our Fathers.

For Mariska Hargitay fans, tonight's episode of SVU is supposedly a tour-de-force performance for the actress and the episode she will undoubtedly be submitting Emmy time next year. It's about a 911 call and I think the episode is in real time.

Sounds great.

Never got myself into the Law and Order franchise. My first sampling was of Criminal Intent, which I watched for D'Onofrio, then I started watching the original, but never sat myself down for a full episode of SVU. I don't watch any of the shows this season, but I might try SVU someday.

Tonight is as good of an opportunity as any, the episode tonight is supposed to be great.

SVU is the only Law & Order I like. I can't stand the others, though I did catch an episode of Criminal Intent where Olivia d'Abo or whatever, the sister on Wonder Years, guest starred and I really liked it.

Tivoing tonights episode, it looks great.

Nice to see Chandra Wilson/Dr. Bailey of Grey's Anatomy.

This episode is amazing, by the way. Probably the best I've ever seen of this show. Seriously, just give Mariska Hargitay the Emmy right now.

Okay, I taped this episode. I'll watch it after I watch this week's Arrested Development and Prison Break tomorrow.

I used to watch this last season, and it was good, but it's no Boston Legal. I should maybe tape it or something, though.

I was tempted to watch tonight (I'm on fall break, nothing much to do, and those ads with 'Mariska Hargitay deserves Emmy' they've been playing almost had me), but I watched Close to Home instead just to see if it was anything interesting. It wasn't, really.

Tonight was amazing. I don't remember many Law and Order episodes be it SVU, CI or mothership, but I'll be remembering this one.

Really? I thought it was excellent. Definently the best new drama of the season. I taped SVU, but I'm a little ticked off at the obvious Emmy bait, but oh well.

Just watched the episode you guys were raving about. And while I don't think I was quite as enamored with it, Mariska Hargitay definitely impressed me.

Tonight looks like a superb episode.

Marcia Gay Harden and the creepy squirrely kid who plays Zach on Desperate Housewives as mother-son white supremacists?

Another powerful episode.

Raw, indeed.

I always liked the show, Libs. I wish it didn't air the same night as Boston Legal.

SVU is repeating one of its best-ever episodes, the 911 episode from earlier in the season.

I am going to be mad if Mariska Hargitay does not get an Emmy soon.

You know, Libs, this is actually a really good show. Probably a great show. The thing that pushed me away was Chris Meloni and his anger issues, much like Jack on Lost. I'm waiting for Belzer or Ice-T to smack him a good one. I'd watch it every week if somebody would do it just once.

Heh I'm not just saying this but what pushed me away is that Mariska has this foul attitude, not unlike Ana Lucia. I was going to post that comment a few weeks ago but didn't cause Libs likes it so much. Hartigay always looks like she's always ready to spit, and she's so smug. I really don't know how people can stomach a "Rape of the week" show like that.
