Head Cases might very well be the first to go on FOX.

Anyone who watched would know exactly why too because it wasn't very good. The pilot dragged far too often and the plot itself just wasn't that intriguing.

I'll give it a watch later. I'm trying to tape most new shows this year, and watching the best ones. So far, only Prison Break has clicked with me, although I haven't seen too much else.

6.4 Million viewers isnt too bad; thats on the same level as Reunion.
Although it lost 600,000 viewers from beginning to end.

And Reunion aired on Thursday, where Fox has continuously struggled (with the latest exception of The OC). For a premiere, Head Cases started off modestly, but I don't think the news will get better when a Pamela Anderson sitcom is leading into it in November.

Seriously.

Although Stacked intrigued me not because it only got on average 10 million viewers after Idol, but the fact that it maintained (or increased) on that number even when it's a repeat!

Let's see how both shows turn out.

Bad for Head Cases. It will most likely not be back mid-season.

Well 6-7 million on Thursdays is more of an accomplishment than 6-7 million on Wednesdays!
Plus, when the new premieres from the 3 other networks come along, expect that number to go down to sub-5 million territory.

The main concern on Wednesdays is That 70s Show. It's a "Why is it still on?" scenario. Between that and Malcolm "Is that even still on?" in the Middle, Fox has a rough time letting any shows go. With Topher Grace out and Ashton in for four episodes, the 70s likely won't live past this season, and that begs the question: why is it still on? I don't understand why they would let a show die a slow, painful death like that. They must think it will evolve into another hit, and stay on for 13 or 14 seasons. I don't know... I just don't see That 70s Show doing well this year. Stacked and Head Cases won't be able to hang on for 70s support.

Wow; guys, we need to stop pretending that Friends is still on Thursdays.
The competition is still huge, to be sure - but its definately not a battleground this week.

Um CSI Vegas is still a very very big ratings killer even though it doesnt really share the same audeince as Reunion

It was on when Friends was on, as in the same seasons. But, not at the same time. Survivor has been in the 8pm timeslot since February 2001, exactly when CSI moved to Thursdays at 9pm, against Will & Grace/whatever else came on after Will & Grace. I believe it was Just Shoot Me at 9:30s after Will & Grace.
