No one else made it, so I'll do it. Also, if people are interested in "Bones", I can combine the two shows for one thread, since they air back-to-back on FOX.

Anyway, the season premiere of "House" is tonight. I'll watch the tape tomorrow, but from the few seconds I saw, it looks brighter. It's more colorful. Last year, the hospital looked so... bleh. Didn't look the same this year. Good change. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed when I watch tomorrow.

Actually Libs, if you want, the first season thread is fairly small. You can merge the two threads if you like, and make that thread the official season thread for this year as well. Your call. I believe it's just two pages.

Very nice. And I'm assuming we don't need a sticky for this. Not much interest.

House is the best show currently on TV.

Its first season was the second best season of a drama I have ever seen. (first is Touching Evil, which, unfortunately, didnt get a second season)

House is a great show. I especially like the performances of Laurie, Epps, and Jennifer Morrison. Morrison is the most likable of the three. Is it just me or does she have different colored hair this season?

Somewhat different color, yes.

She's naturally blonde though (according to Entertainment Weekly, heh.)

I never knew that. She usually has dark hair in the films she's been in.

Cuddy is such an uptight admin, I love her! I like the whole love/hate professional relationship that she has with House.

Finally watched the premiere. I love this show! It sucks that so few people watch it (Edit: ... so few watch it on here. The show is obviously watched enough, with just under 16 million viewers this week). I won't debate the "not stickying" thing, but I think more of you guys should be watching. Even though I want Kiefer to win Best Actor at the Emmys, I will not be disappointed if Hugh Laurie, or even Ian McShane wins.

It's because we all know 24 will win Best Drama.

(in my dreams... )

I watched the season premiere of this show and it was most excellent. I shall now find a way to watch Season 1. Sucks that it clashes with My Name Is Earl/The Office though. I now must download it instead of actually watching it :-(.

It won't clash with your shows come January. When House comes back from its winter hiatus, it's moving to Mondays at 9pm (EST) (I believe that's the correct time...).

House and 24 combination is awesome.

Does this mean American Idol won't have the Monday editions again (male contestants semifinal round)?

I have no clue whatsoever. But at least I know ahead of time what House's schedule will be; now I can make sure I don't schedule a night class for Monday nights next semester. Stupidly of me, I scheduled my computer class for Tuesday nights this semester before remember that House is on Tuesday nights. Thankfully, everything in that class is pretty much review from my high school computer classes, so I've been getting home in time to watch House (reruns and now new eps).

Won't make the same mistake next semester, though... :)

Last night's ep. was really good (as usual). House showed himself to be kind of heartless at times but in the end, he illustrated that he has a softer side as well. This show is consistently entertaining, perhaps moreso than any other show on TV.

The little girl gave a good performance as well. And was that Elvis Costello's version of "BEautiful" in the end?

Yes it was.

It was another great episode, I'm loving this show definitely one to stick with for the season.

I hope that it eventually gets the recognition it rightly deserves and wins Emmy after Emmy. Hugh Laurie especially deserves one. He makes the show what it is. The supporting cast isn't too shabby either, with Jennifer Morrison, Omar Epps, and others giving great performances.

Well, we *FINALLY* got a new episode of House last night, after a whole *month* of pre-emption due to baseball *grumbles*.

It was a pretty good episode. I didn't feel completely fulfilled afterward, but there were still some *great* moments in it, like when the GoodDoctor had a cardiac arrest on live television, and afterward House shouted into the camera--"That is NOT TB!" and then Wilson, watching the show from a coma-guy's room, quipped "*That*... is compelling television."

Some great moments that kept the episode from feeling *too* dull. It's kinda disappointing that this was the episode they chose to start the November sweeps with...

But next week's episode looks *awesome*. When I'd heard House's parents were going to show up, I had expected the episode to be a light-hearted one, but then that promo last night definitely points toward more angst than comedy... And really, I should have thought about it, seeing as how this IS sweeps month...

Good episode but not overly great either. Some stretches with the sick doctor and him trying to get his message out came across as too preachy. I did like most of the moments with House though, especially when he pretended to not be a doctor and just a cripple as he "apologized" to that lady. That part was hilarious along with being oh so true.

OMG, that was definitely my favorite scene of last night's episode. I was laughing like crazy! That was so hilariously ingenious. House is so clever... :)

Hmmm... ratings are not out yet.

Maybe House broke People Meters

Another fine episode BTW. BUt seriously, they need to show more of Robert Sean Leonard.

Yet another great episode! House/Wilson slashers are going nuts over the undertones in tonight's episode... The writers are so obviously peeking at what the fandom talks about; there's no doubt about it.

Loved tonight's episode. After the slight disappointment of last week's episode, this one completely made up for last week and then some.

Can't wait for next week!

Joy, did you notice the jab that House made on Cuddy about the rumors about her being a transsexual?

Seems like the writers didn't forget Lisa Edelstein (Cuddy) played a transsexual in Ally McBeal!

Again, another excellent episode. Favorite part? Cameron caught on her knees checking out some guy's groin for fungus. lol
