Pretty much Bran unwillingly fucked over Hodor's entire life just for that one purpose

Too much Bran in this episode, and Hodor's death was needless. It's Dobby the House Elf all over again.

"HOLD THE DOOR!" is going to run through my dreams. :tears: :tears: :tears:

Though I'm really excited to see the siege of Riverrun. Most badass part of A Feast for Crows so far.

The last ten minutes was nuts so did we just lose another direwolf? I guess they could shock us and he shows up next week saving Meera and Bran. It looks Meera is pretty important since she is the only one who can protect Bran now. It was pretty cool about the creation of the White Walkers. The idea of creating something to protect that ends up being the Children of the Forest destruction is pretty cool idea.

Also Meera killed a Whitewalker and the weapon doesn't seem to be Dragonstone. Could it be that Meera and Jon are related twins and are Targaryen?

I loved this episode, but it does make things... messy with the time travel. I'm going to assume Bran is the only character in the entire series that has this ability (after tonight's episode), limiting the different scenarios, but who else, and/or what events, has he affected in the current timeline, unknowingly?

OMG Summer and Hodor? :tears:

All because Bran just had to greenseer by himself. What an asshole. I knew I was right in not liking him. He has been Stannitised.

Mostly good episode besides all that.

And Brienne is going to the Riverlands does that mean LS is still in play?

How in the world would being a Targaryen make a difference when it came to killing White Walkers?

Yes! At least, I fucking hope Catelyn is the fan favorite returning character instead of the Hound.

Fire in their blood? But Jon has a Valyrian sword and that's why he was able to kill a walker. Plus, I'm sure that spear was obsidian. Wouldn't it make sense for all the children's weapons to be made of dragonglass?

This episode's ending was gut wrenching.

They are all made of dragonglass. The reason the one Child didn't kill the White Walker is because she hit his armor plate.

Actually Meera killed the Walker with the Obsidian that Sam gave them way back in season 3.

As for who will save Bran and Meera, I think we will probably see
Spoiler: show
Coldhands or some version of him show up next episode

Yeah they've mentioned Benjen way too often for it to not play any role. I'm guessing he takes Bran to the Wall, only to see it fall in the series finale. Bran fucked up good this time.

Cool episode. Didn't like the ending with Daenerys though. Felt tacked on, like the writers had no other ideas about how to end the show than with a "FUCK YEAH DAENERYS!" moment, even though the episode had mostly to do with the goings on in King's Landing and North of the Wall.

Sam's father's dickiness was certainly not exaggerated. I really hope they have Benjen go by Coldhands. And I can't wait to see the siege of Riverrun. The Blackfish is badass.

It sent me an email saying that it was cancelled (I did not cancel it, IDK), but then I log into it and it still works.

Another great episode. Very dense but the editing kept the episode moving swiftly.

But who the hell is Ian McShane playing? I thought it would be Euron, then Randal Tarly, but now it doesn't seem like there is anyone left.
