The cliffhanger wasn't as cliffhangery as I thought it would be, but it was still a great episode. I wish they would move along some of the other stories and focus more on them instead of it all being Jack/Kate/Sawyer and the Others. I guess we'll get that come February since there will be 16 episodes IN A ROW!! It's gonna rock so much.

You people are idiots. Of course it's going to be a cliffhanger.

Not really. I assume it means the 2nd island is to the north.

That was a great episode last night. I loved the ending and it sets up a great second half of the season. Having no repeats ala 24 will be great. I guess Jericho is also employing this method. I think all shows should either do this method or the 24 method will no repeats.

Probably the worst episode of Lost ever. Capped with an awfully bad 'cliffhanger'.

andaroo, is that a fan made map?

I'm kind of mixed about this episode.

I probably liked it more than I didn't but there were alot of things that bothered me a little.

I realized that for emphasizing the Kate-Jack-Sawyer storyline for more than the majority of the 6 episodes, it really didn't get too far. I don't know what it is but this whole Others holding them captive is starting to get quite dull.

I thought they executed the Kate/Sawyer stuff pretty well. It took longer than it needed to but at least we got somewhere with that. And why was Jack so opposed to the surgery? I thought he was going to do what Juliet proposed in the previous episode with the videotape.

This episode barely had any of the other characters. Where on earth are Sun and Jin? they haven't appeared since the second episode.

I'm surprised no one mentioned that hillarious preview of the February return... when the voice over (as well as the text on the screen) said "16 weeks, 16 new episodes. No Repeats. NOT EVEN ONE!" I just starting cracking up.

Great, great episode. Maybe it was because of Nathan Fillion but I was surprisingly engaged in the flashback. I don't disagree that they've been somewhat slow with the imprisonment of Jack, Kate, and Sawyer, but I really like where they're going. My only problem with the ending is that all Kate needs to say is "We're on a seperate fucking Island Jack!" and it'd be kinda kaput. My bet is that they'll escape using the sailboat.

Good episode, Lost seems to be back.

I'm still a bit wary to why they needed Kate and Sawyer though. I mean, is it just so Kate can convince Jack, and Sawyer being threatened can convince her? If so, that's a bit ... odd and random. The isolation for Jack would almost be as effective as that. Or maybe it's something else that they haven't revealed yet, hopefully.

And oh, Kate's flashback was fantastic... one of the best since the first season.

They seem to be intent on getting babies don't they? Juliet is a fertility doctor and I didn't see any little kids running around Otherville in the season premiere. They took the kids from the tailies and tried to take Walt and Claire's baby. They seem like a pretty sterile, childless community. Like some sort of doomsday cult that needs to reproduce itself to continue but can't.

So, as to Sawyer and Kate, maybe they wanted her to get pregnant and figured she would with either Sawyer or Jack? I don't check out Lost forums anymore so for all I know this is debunked 5 ways to Sunday but it's just how it strikes me.

I just had a new theory after this episode, is Gale (Ben) Alex's father? Ie Rosseau's husband who got affected by the sickness actually Henry Gale????? Is it the sickness is actually another word, for when people are turned into the group of others, and whatever it is they are doing? There was something very important about why Alex just started going on a rampage during the episode, and mentioning Ben. She also seems to get away with alot there, despite misbehaving. There's definitely something there I think...

This map is, but the shape of the island is known not only from within the show but also in higher profile magazines like Maxim and the like, and the locations have been confirmed a few times (and actually matched up with the season premiere crash sites).

http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Image:Lostislands2_2.gif
http://www.lostpedia.com/images/1/15/Bl ... brains.jpg (which is solely based on in-show evidence).

People believe that the Hydra Island is either on the North side of the island (where the dock/other camp is) or on the East side (perhaps connected with the cable that Sayid found on the beach.) It is theorized that the North side is a better location because it provides The Others with more of a reason to go after the tailies, it also works better with the idea of the "line that Jack was not supposed to cross" and the fact that the dock's location would actually make more sense.

There's also a theory that there isn't two islands, but one that you can go round and round forever on.

I thought the last episode was pretty good, probably the best of the season so far. However, the cliffhanger is slightly disappointing.

I'm more and more thinking that my theory is correct. I found out that later this season, we'll find out who Ben's past love was...I think it was ROSSEAU. He is her "lost" husband!

Producers suggested we'd see more of Rosseau in season 3, so I'm leaning towards this being true.

Also said that we would not find out the who Sun's baby's Daddy is in the SERIES finale...

Michael/Walt could be returning, but not this season.

Upcoming episodes:

Episode 7: Juillet (Ethan will be in this episode)
8: Desmond (I think Libby could pop into this one, also we will apparently find out why Walt, and other young were taken, in THIS episode).
9: Jack (find out about how he got his tattoos)
10: Hurley (Libby could pop into this one too, especially if they are doing Desmond and Hurley flashbacks are so close).

Thanks for reminding me O, I updated the first page with the titles of two of those episodes. Not in Portland (Juliet) and Tricia Tanka is Dead, which apparently is the Hurley episode.

Apparently in the Jack episode with the tattoos, Jack meets up with a character played by Bai Ling.

Matthew Fox will host Saturday Night Live on December 2nd. Does he have a movie coming out? Seems odd to have him host between the Lost hiatus.

When does We Are Marshall come out? Not until later in December, no?

Eh. Better, I guess. CSI: NY gets the same audience as Criminal Minds, and NBC's competition is Medium, which isn't big competition. If anything, I think Medium will be dead when Lost returns.

Me likeyyyyyy the move to 10 pm. Very much.

Now we won't have to hear Marc Berman melodramatically compare Lost and Criminal Minds every single week. Although this probably means Criminal Minds will just get even bigger.

I suppose this also means The Nine is officially dead.

You'd rather read this?...:

"By the way, how do you like that second CSI spinoff beating Lost in total viewers? Is it just me, or is Lost going to be off the air by next season?"

Meh, I think Lost will hold far better against CSI: NY than Criminal Minds/Idol. Medium's not much of a factor anymore, so...

Avoiding American Idol is smart but I expect the ABC leadin of Knights of Prosperity to be trounched very very badly that its ratings would dip below 5.0. Im thinking that during that time, they will probably cancel KOP and just put reruns of Grey's Analtomy or whatever reality show at that time slot
