I can't wait, actually. It looks real cute and I love Rachel Harris from Best Week Ever and her rice cake commercials. I actually can so connect with those commercials cause they're so true for me too.

This is on at 10? It might have a shot of working since ER took something like a year off in between episodes and might have some trouble getting it's audience back.
I saw a preview for it a couple of days ago. It's not my type of show, but it doesn't look bad either.

Here's a review from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Funny 'Notes' deserves a baby shower
Posted: April 9, 2007
Joanne Weintraub
ABC clearly doesn't think "Notes From the Underbelly" is the next big thing. If you're high on a show, after all, you don't leave it on the shelf till the middle of April like a tax return on which you owe $2,000.
So it might surprise you to find that this sitcom, which has been postponed endlessly since it was supposed to have debuted last fall, is funnier than the trio of half-hour comedies currently on ABC, the lifeless "According to Jim" and "George Lopez" and the grim "In Case of Emergency." In fact, despite its modest premise and mostly unknown cast, "Notes" is noteworthy for its sparkle.
The main characters, Lauren (Jennifer Westfeldt, "Kissing Jessica Stein") and Andrew (Peter Cambor), are thirty-somethings nervously expecting their first baby. Married friends Julie (Melanie Paxson, "Joey") and Eric (Sunkrish Bala, Showtime's "Barbershop") are several months ahead of them in the pregnancy game, while singles Cooper (Rachael Harris, "For Your Consideration") and Danny (Michael Weaver) think the whole procreation thing is unwise, if not downright creepy.
Already jostled this way and that by hormones, Lauren is even more rattled by the conflicting advice of Cooper, a divorce attorney who darkly warns her against "joining the mommy cult," and Julie, a devoted cultist who remains idiotically sunny even while describing her first trimester: "I didn't vomit every day, more like every other day, but the days I did it was more than once!"
Andrew, meanwhile, has downloaded a few too many helpful articles on fetal development. How can Lauren be eating nothing but toast for breakfast, he agonizes, on "the day the baby's teeth are going to form in its sockets?"
Lauren goes to a baby shower and is depressed when another guest hands out business cards identifying her as a "Scrapbooker/Mommy, available for play dates and general mischief." Julie's water breaks while she's at the cosmetics counter, but, unfazed, she insists on picking up two lipsticks and eyeliner before she leaves.
All this is smartly written, appealingly acted - especially by Westfeldt and the hilarious Harris, who manages to be dry and ditzy at the same time - and directed with energy and wit by Barry Sonnenfeld, who scored on the big screen with "Get Shorty" and "Men in Black" but hasn't done nearly as well on the small one.
I'm not sure why. Two of Sonnenfeld's TV flops, "Maximum Bob" and the live-action version of "The Tick," were funnier than a lot of other people's hits.
ABC is obviously expecting "Notes" to go down, too. After this week's back-to-back premiere, it will move to its regular time slot, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, for an abbreviated run starting April 18.
That move will give it the stale "According to Jim" for a lead-in and plunk it down opposite the successful "Bones" and "America's Next Top Model" - better than "Shark" and "ER," but not exactly ideal.
To be honest, I don't think "Notes" can beat the odds, and that's too bad. Prime time could use a bouncing baby sitcom right about now.

I'm on a plane tonight, so I have to watch it later. Stupid Jetblue doesn't have ABC.

I thought it was incredibly cute and pretty funny. I've got a season pass.

I LOVED IT! I think it actually even surpassed my expectations. It was hilarious and highly entertaining. I laughed out loud a few times. Jennifer Westfeldt is the most adorable thing ever.
I will just die if this doesn't do well in the ratings and gets cancelled.

A little article/interview with Jennifer Westfeldt from Zap2it.com: http://www.zap2it.com/tv/news/zap-story ... -headlines
I wouldn't want a Kissing Jessica Stein sequel. I'm with her on this one. I too loved the characters, and am very pleased with where they left the movie. There's no more to show really. Obviously if one ever were made I'd be excited about it, but it's for the best if one isn't. However, I would absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have her and Heather Juergensen co-write another script together. Kissing Jessica Stein is personally one of the most well-written movies I've seen. The dialogue is so sharp and perfect. It would be nice if they could write/star in another movie. They made a great team, both on the screen and off it.

OH MY GOD! This might have gotten off to a solid start in the ratings, but they are killing it by moving it to Wednesday's. The last episode of According To Jim got just 5.09 Million viewers, and that was a new episode! And that is its lead-in! This is awful! This show had hit potential for sure if they weren't screwing it over. You'd think they would try and keep it considering its debut was better than all of ABC's comedy shows do. They made a big mistake damn it!

Just in the middle of episode 2. I really, really like this show. It's so weird watching a show about couples that's actually... really good. And not painfully unfunny.
God, ABC mishandled this show so badly. I really think we'll be lucky to see episode 4.

Well that sucks. This seriously was cute. Thursdays night would be amazingly awesome with Ugly Betty, Grey's and Underbelly. Wednesdays after According to Fatass is horrible.

Not as funny tonight, but still cute. The whole beginning was kind of boring. I was glad when it came back from commercial and was them at yoga with Cooper.

Anyone still watching? I kinda sorta really like it. A lot.
And, here's some good news from Marc Berman:
Quote: ABC is in negotiations for a second abbreviated season of sitcom The Knights of Prosperity with former Everybody Loves Raymond star Ray Romano as the robbery target. In addition, the network is expected to give recently introduced sitcom Notes From the Underbelly an order for an additional 13 episodes.
That's some good news! It's not official, but I'll take good rumor news over bad rumor news. Plus, the show will air its finale next week (I think) with two new episodes, which will leave 5 additional episodes for next season (18 total).
Again, I don't want anyone to take this as official, but it's coming from someone who wouldn't report just any kind of rumors (Marc Berman).

OH MY GOD!!!!! PLEASE BE TRUE!!!!! (*prays*) I LOVE THIS SHOW! It's so enjoyable and even if ratings aren't amazing they have been consistent and that's all you can ask for with what it's been given. Thanks for delivering this good rumor. I was afraid when the thread was bumped up that someone would have said it was officially cancelled, which would have been a major bummer!

Season finale is tonight! It's two episodes! It goes According To Jim, Notes, According To Jim, and then another Notes.
I hope this doesn't take long to come to DVD and that it does really well on DVD. It should come out early enough so that it has enough time to get new viewers for the second season.

"I wanna sit at the bar and hope the guy pouring my drinks hasn't also been on a date with you."
"You better hope he doesn't go to The Cat and Fiddle."
I think Notes may be my favorite new show this season.
"Oh the eskimo whore look. Why did that go away?"
