Not sure how I missed this...
This makes me even more sure that Philip will be the one picking up Jack right at the end of the season. Everyone will think he's dead, so it'll be shocking when he's not.
Looks like the craziness is just gonna increase this season.

I also don't see Jack getting in the car with him after all he had done, unless it is to kill him.

Well the Palmer part makes sense. If it was all a ploy I can see why he did it now. I don't get the rest of it though. Unless they get some information from Fayid that way.

That reminds me of the Robot Chicken with M. Night Shyamalan.
WHAT A TWIST.

I'd like to believe that Tony is the returning cast member at the end of this season. His "death" was just so... lame, and unfair. I want him to come back, NOW.
He's the only dead person I could see coming back. Michelle, David, EDGAR (as HILARIOUS as that would be to hear him say that line), and others seem unlikely.
It could be Audrey, though, right?

POTENTIAL MAJOR SPOILER
Supposedly, tonight's episode will mark the return of Cheng and Audrey.

This lists the cast for tonight's episode: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0933902/
So, yeah, Audrey's back tonight. And on the Yahoo! TV preview, it says: "The administration resumes an offensive approach; Jack and Fayed come face to face; a shocking development." So, yeah, it makes sense.
Also, if you jump to the final episode on IMDB, it has Philip Bauer listed. He's not listed for the previous episode, so...

IMDb's not exactly the greatest resource for spoilers. I remember when they had Samuel L. Jackson listed as playing Bernard on Lost. But Phillip will be back at the end, per Loyal's spoiler above.

I still laugh when I remember they had Leslie Hope (Teri) listed as the elusive "Aunt Carol" in Season 2 lol.

I am hoping that will be the case. Not sure who else would be a shock. It won't be Palmer because he is on the Unit. I rule out anybody Jack shot: Nina and Chappelle. I think Jack Walsh would be too obscure. Mason is just crazy. Kim wouldn't call her dad, Jack .That leaves, IMO Tony, Michelle, Sherry, Mandy and Chase. I think Sherry is the least likely because not sure how her character would work without Palmer. I am also not sue if Chase would be shocking.

A real twist would be Bill Buchanan as the father.

Nope.
How much more soap-y can this show get?

So Milo dies, that will be one death, I won't cry over. And I agree it sounds like Tony to me, but to be fair here is a list of suspects.
We know the person is male so it could be
I am going to eliminate George Mason (no way could he survive that), Ryan Chappelle (Jack shot him in the head), Edgar (It be hard to survive that gas) Philip Bauer (first from the spoilers I don't think he makes if off the boat. Second he was shot so if did make it off I don't see him running to find Jack while he is bleeding to death), and Hendersen (again Jack shot him, I can't see him being alive after that)
1 Tony- Makes the most sense to me. Jack would be shocked to see him alive. I could see him smile at Jack like that after lowering his gun. He is also a very popular character.
2 David Palmer It is possible but really I don't think it will be him and not because of the Unit (heck the show could get cancelled during the summer). I think it be hard to explain that he is alive since his brother and sister both think he is dead. That would really suspend any logic there.
3 Charles Logan Really he is my second possibility. Jack could think he is dead, might have heard what happened to him. The only problem is not sure any hosiptal would release him that quick although who knows.
4 Richard Walsh- This would shock Jack because he died in Season 1. The only problem with is 99% of the audience wouldn't have any idea who he is.
5 Chase- It could be Chase, but I am not sure why Jack would be shocked to see him. Unless he thought he was in Valencia when the nuke went off.
6 Sec. Hellar- I doubt Hellar, only because I have heard rumors that Hellar is coming in to replace Bill. Also not sure how it would shock Jack to see him, since I think he knows he surivived that car crash.
7 Mike Novik- I have read people on other fan sites mention him, but how in the world would this shock Jack or anybody.
If anybody could name someone else go for it but those are the only names I can think of.

loyalfromlondon wrote: that's a fairly solid rundown, you can eliminate any villians or pseudo villians, which then leaves only those on your list.
But I really don't see it being anyone other than Tony. Partly because I love the character and partly because he makes the most sense.
That Season 7 prequel has a lot of explaining to do (assuming that's how the producers bridge the car ride to the next season). They won't do back to back days or would they?
Yeah that is why I don't think it would be someone like Hendersen or Max (completely out of left field though). Once they lowered their weapon, Jack would kill him. Jack gets in the car willingly so he has to be on good terms. I think Tony right now fits that category the best.

Los Angeles has suffered enough. Nuclear bombs, deadly viruses, nerve gas and presidential assassinations... I don't think they can handle another incident.

That would hold up the idea that the show sort of works in season trilogies.
A season in D.C. or Chicago would be cool. Though no city really has the diverse landscape that L.A. has, in terms of places to go.

And as cool as Tony returning would be, someone I told made a good point: Wouldn't he essentially just be another Jack now that his One True is dead and has nothing to lose?
I think it might've been cooler had they revived Michelle instead and have a female version of Jack.

I think changing locations is a good idea. Not sure what major city to move it. DC could be cool.

A badass female field op is what the show really needs. (Chloe's one time gig in Season 4 and Michelle during the viral outbreak don't count! lol)
