I just listened to the Patrick Page song and that simply can't be the last song It doesn't fit at all and isn't even that good. The Mika song is infinitely better.

I agree. The Mika song would fit the finale better.

I definitely teared up at least four or five times throughout that episode, starting with the scene between Summer and Julie about Marissa. Then by the end I was completely losing it, during the Seth-Summer goodbye and especially the final montage (so glad Seth and Summer got married I felt like cheering. It was easily the best part of the episode). And I loved the Julie resolution as well! The flashback sequences were also touching and I loved seeing the season one moments again (I am glad they didn't completely ignore Marissa - even though Taylor is better Marissa was still a big part of this show). But what a fantastic episode and an absolutely brilliant season. I will miss this show and as I've said, it's going to be weird not watching this talented ensemble every week.
And some of the jokes in this episode were excellent! I loved Summer and Taylor's conversation about The Valley. It shows even the cast/crew had a sense of humor about the show's loss of popularity.

Uh, the Valley is on its 5th season! Teen shows last forever.

So what happened in the finale?
Did they ever wrap up that Theresa/Ryan's baby storyline?

Basically, here were the major plot points:
After an earthquake demolishes their house, the Cohens are looking for somewhere new to live. They can't find anywhere that satisfies them, but Sandy keeps thinking about Berkeley, and how he felt right at home living there with Kirsten when Seth was a baby. Ryan and Seth end up traveling to Berkeley to see if they can buy the house back, but there is a couple living there that refuses to sell. As an act of persuasion, Sandy and a very pregnant Kirsten traveled there to see if they could change their minds. While visiting, Kirsten's water broke, and she ended up having the baby in the house.
Meanwhile, Julie (who is also pregnant with Frank Atwood's baby) is getting married to Bullit the same day despite the fact that she is still in love with Frank. When she discovers Kirsten had her baby, she refuses to get married without her by her side. The entire wedding ends up moving to Berkeley, but right as Julie is at the altar, Frank objects (via telephone). Julie ends up deciding not to marry anyone and tells Kaitlin that she is going to figure out how to do things on her own for once.
Ryan and Taylor, who broke up after the earthquake, end up getting back together.
Seth decides that Summer needs to figure out who she truly is, and believes that she can make a difference in the world. Because of this, he tells her to go to work for GEORGE (an environmental organization) and that he will wait for her until she has done what she wanted to accomplish. They say goodbye at the end of the episode with Summer saying "This isn't goodbye. You're my destiny Cohen."
The Cohens say goodbye to the house and Seth heads off to Rhode Island School Of Design, and Sandy and Kirsten begin to drive to Berkeley. Ryan decides to stay for a few minutes to say his own personal goodbye. As he walks through the house we see flashbacks of the first season, including when he first met Seth, when Kirsten tells him that he can stay, and various other moments. As he leaves the house and drives away, there is a flashback to when he saw Marissa in the driveway - I believe this scene signified that he had finally moved on after her death.
We then get an epilogue for every character. Ryan goes to Berkeley and ends up becoming an architect, and eventually gets together with Taylor. Summer becomes an environmental activist who makes the news, and Seth follows her career religiously. The two end up getting married (in an absolutely adorable scene) with the entire family there - including Kirsten's new daughter. Julie ends up going to college and getting a degree, and eventually ends up with Frank. Kaitlin goes to college and eventually becomes one of the smartest students in her class. Sandy becomes a law professor at Berkeley and settles down with Kirsten in their old house. The final scene shows Ryan coming out of a construction site talking to Taylor on the phone. He then sees a kid sitting on the curb by a pay phone with nothing but a bike - exactly like him in the first episode. He then says "Hey kid, you need some help?" I think this signified that after his experience with the Cohens he was going to do the same thing for another kid who needed a second chance.
It was really a phenomenal episode.

Epilogue... nice. I'll probably catch a repeat of it sometime.
As for my other question, what ever happened to Theresa and the baby... did they resolve that earlier in the series or was it just forgotten about completely

It was somewhat resolved. She showed up in the third season and was going to tell him about it because they started getting close again, but he got into a fight at the prom (where she was his date) with Volchok over Marissa - and this led her to believe that he hadn't matured and therefore would not be a good father.

Since this series is now finished, what episodes does everyone consider their favorites?
I'm typing up a list now and will post it later. Here are a few obvious inclusions:
"Pilot"
"The Escape"
"The Ties That Bind"
"The Rainy Day Women"
"The Graduates"
"The Metamorphisis"
"The Summer Bummer"
"The Night Moves"
"The End's Not Near, It's Here"

All great episodes. I also liked "The Countdown" and "The Avengers".

Just got around to watching my DVR copy of the finale. It was very good; I'm sad to see the show end. I will miss it immensely. For all its ups and downs, it became a very comforting presence.
