Ohhhhh! I just realized what that was. Yeah, he did miss a star. I thought he was cleverly hiding some expletives with the stars.

well i rented SALO from netflix since i can't rent it anywhere else. maybe i should have backed it up in retrospect since i don't have it but i really didn't think it was worth hanging on to after i'd seen it.

I think it still has some effect to it today but it was obviously outrageous back when it first came out. Today's standards have weakened it though but the scenes involving the feces is still penetrating to me. Most everything else was tame to me. Even the final tortures at the end. I think this would be a good candidate to recreate today maybe in a different time period or setting so as to not be a total copy but with the loose standards we have today this could really bring it back to being a relevant depiction of decadent violence and behavior again.

torrino, here is what i own. its probably a bad idea though because i look at em and dont wanna lose any.

on the other hand, they are still in boxes from moving and i dont have any furniture for them so they'll probably stay in boxes for a while anyway.

i think there might be a criterion sale on amazon too btw because some of them are really cheap there. so i guess probably check there if yr looking to buy anything.
