 Grand Theft Auto IV
Isn't very good.
Regretting purchase.
It gets tiring and obnoxious very fast.
The cops respond incredibly poorly to almost anything. Driving down the opposite side of the street... crashing into cars around them... etc.
Plus, as I was leaving the strip club it froze on me.

Wow, you wants cop to chase you for driving on the wrong side of the road and running red lights? For Speeding too? So in other words you want a really annoying game.

Plus, as I was leaving the strip club it froze on me. So everytime you're in the middle of a mission and you're trying to get somewhere quickly and u go on the other side of the road to avoid the cars in front of you, u want cops (they will see you cuz they're EVERYWHERE) to begin chasing you? that would be incredibly abnoxious and the makers realized that and it was a good decision. just like cops don't care if you go through red lights cuz then it would take you like 20 times as long to go anywhere.

When you learn to replace "u" with "you" and "cuz" with "because" you might be worth responding to. But I see that GTAIV has found a friend in your demographic.

Turning this into KJ's official GTA4 thread. Sorry, roo.
Tony! Is Michelle worth my time going on second and third dates with or should I stop and wait till a better girl opens up?
This is like Harvest Moon all over again, frantically trying to get my favorite girl to marry me in every way I can.

 Re: Grand Theft Auto IV
The only way to really ditch Michelle is to shoot her, but even then, she becomes kind of important to the story. If you want to date other girls, go to an internet cafe and proposition some online.

 Re: Grand Theft Auto IV
kiki gives you an opportunity of getting out of trouble with the cops once per day if you have 3 stars and less. It had became very useful to me. The other internet chick which I believe was that Puerto Rican chick was annoying but hilarious. She however doesnt do shit and gives you an ability that doesnt even work at all

This is like Harvest Moon all over again, frantically trying to get my favorite girl to marry me in every way I can. Michelle is part of the plot, so dating her won't hurt, but isn't going to help wildly either. If you do date her, just keep in mind that she likes mini-games. She's a sure thing after a few mini-game dates (bowling, darts, pool). Once you can internet date, there are a few good ones. I just got in good with Soboho (or something like that)... she is the nurse if you check the profiles. Once she likes you, she will heal you over the phone. So, if your health is failing, just call her up and you're at 100%. She likes the fast motorcycle, for you to be wearing nice clothes, and loves the strip club. Take her to the strip club twice and she'll grant you the healing power.

I think she's a sure thing after about three dates anywhere.

She really loves minigames, and also likes restaraunts. One other tip I found... if a friend is annoying you to go out on a date, and your busy doing something else, then accept the invite, then call right back and "cancel plans". It hurts the relationship far less than refusing the invite altogether.

 Re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Im having trouble with the last level and its frustrating. Remember GTA:SA where you have 20-30 mins of gameplay for the last level and if you mess up you have to start all over, well this one is just as bad because it tests you on your driving, shooting, and helicopter controls. By the way theres two alternative endings so you may want to save your game when it gives you an option of going for money and revenge because One of those two possibilities will get either Roman or Kate killed

 Re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I was guessing there would be a SA style ending, but if I remember correctly there was a rare checkpoint for that one. So, you're saying there is absolutely no checkpoints on the last one here?

There is one but the big flaw in that checkpoint system is that by the time you have to restart it, you lose most of the ammo you have already used up. I wish when they let you restart the game they dont dock ammo you have used up in the beginning. I mean this level you will completely used up about 1/3 of your ammo

I mean this level you will completely used up about 1/3 of your ammo I often reload my last save when I fail a mission for that very reason... it's either that or revisit the gun shop to get armor and weapons again. Does the last mission in GTA IV have any checkpoints midway through, or do you start it over from the beginning no matter what?
