One of the least remembered yet most artistically creative from the ND vault, Return of Saturn showed a more mature side to Stefani. Wishing for kids in 'Simple Kind of Life' and displaying vulnerability and self deprecation in 'Magic's In The Makeup' displayed a new side to Stefani's writing. New is probably my favorite track on the album, which is a fun fast dance/rock song used for the soundtrack to the film 'Go'. 'Ex-Girlfriend' is a deliciously dark track in which Stafani writes about her then volatile relationship with Bush frontman Gavin Rosedale.

Side note: Big Distraction doesn't belong on the tracklisting as it was only an exclusive bonus track.

Bathwater is one of my favourite ND tracks. That alone makes this album worth it.
