I never thought Britney would manage to produce the best album ever when everything sround her seemed to completely fall apart. She always relied on great producers and supersmash singles.

Looking how uninvolved Britney was it's a miracle Blackout is what it is.

Gimme More was an instant. Even though the VMA performance was one of the lamest performances anyone ever had, the song managed to hook me instantly. And I wasn't the only one - the song, even though Brit Bit was completely uninterested in any promotion, was a global hit. It even performed magnificently on HOT 100 even though Brit had no luck for years there.

The album just delivered more of the awesome, dance-infused music.

Piece of Me, Radar, Break the Ice, Heaven on Earth were alll as good if some of them not even better than Gimme More. From that point the album got weaker. Toy Soldier (And Ooh Ooh Baby maybe) was the only real standout, but I never skipped a single song. I never listen to last one that is, but I never skip it. I just turn the album off at that point.

Definitely her best work. It's just a very exciting album that makes u want to do dirty things and just one truly hot record.

B for Britney's best.

I agree, her best album. The entire set is pretty steller, minus WSIBS and maybe HAI.

It's only major flaw is that it feels more like a mixed-CD put together by a bunch of producers than an actual album. Britney herself is pretty overshadowed by all the production...

Again i agree with Cotton, but will opt for A- on this. One of the most fun CDs ive ever bought. It also had this deep, grinding undertone that linked back to the personal troubles of britney, who brought the word "bitch" into the lexicon in a way that not even Meredith Brooks could.

Her best one to date, all songs are good (Except maybe for WSIBS), this is a really fun cd, but it lacked some kind of diversity.
