The last completely great season of the show (as it was Sorkin's last), it nonetheless continues the trend downward. Still, 20 Hours in America and Twenty Five are both stunning works of television.

I think I may see this season as very good rather than great. I wasn't a fan of Sam's departure and aside from the episodes mentioned I can't seem to recall intricate details of the others.

Loved it, though I thought Sam's exit kind of felt a bit like a non-factor. This was disappointing since he was such a major character in the first few seasons, and I felt his absence in the first few episodes without him. Still though, the final two episodes are INCREDIBLE and two of my favorites that I've seen so far. The whole Zoey kidnapping intercut with Amy/Donna's conversation and Leo eventually running to the President's office in the penultimate episode was an AMAZING and incredibly chilling sequence, and the cliffhanger ending definitely left you wanting more.
