Pretty much Florida is weirdly in danger as well with abortion coming to the ballot

I don't know about "handed" but it's remarkable what has taken place. Biden is clearly making efforts to address this nagging issue with immigration, while the GOP just doubles down on what has been killing them (abortion). Add in the continued chaos within the house and its just remarkable how clear the contrast is.

Trump is starting to realize it as for a guy who is known for doubling down in the face of unpopular choices, he sure is back paddling on the issue of abortion. Not being able to avoid being held accountable for criminal behavior will do that to you

It's amazing how much hate has been drummed up for Trump despite how he is moderate on the two issues the left is most emotional about (gay marriage and abortion), I think if the Republicans had an upset win president from 16-20 that had less Trumpisms like his runny mouth but hardcore religious conservative views in those areas, the woke era media environment would demonize them just as much by emphasizing those sins in their eyes instead.

He's moderate about abortion yet the judges he appointed were the ones who overturned Roe v Wade. I'm stunned that liberals don't love him for being so moderate on the subject!!!

I love that the new strategy is trying to sell Trump as a positive for the issue of abortion when his election directly lead to it being banned in the first place. Trumpers across the nation will be reciting this horseshit with 100% sincerity and belief that what they are saying is true. And then they'll also wonder why people think of them as brainwashed cultists.

Exactly Flava. Doesn’t matter what he may or may not say publicly. It is because of Trump more than any other GoP president before him that we are in this mess

Current predictit odds

Biden 53 - Trump 45

Trump running mate: Scott 22 - Noem 18 - Gabbard 11 - Stefanik - 10

Most pundits I follow seem to think he is pulling for a woman VP which is smart because suburban women is his weakest demographic. But I like Tim Scott because he is such a floor mat which Trump will want and can help push the racial minority demographic further into the GOP camp which it is already making big gains in lately.

Scott would be the race play and Stefanik maybe the best he can do for the abortion play while still being MAGA. Maybe Ben Carson is a good middle ground since I think he hasn't said as much about abortion as Scott.

Well at least Noem wasn’t picked as running mate before saying she wants to kill Biden’s dog

I hope it’s Stefanik. Best choice since she’s moderate being from NY but still appeals to trump base

Trump is polling about 5 points better than on same day in 2020.

In an unshocking and sadly expected move, Haley comes out in support of Trump despite still clinging to a conservative ideal at odds with the Trump political philosophy and what can be described as just another ploy to appeal to voters in future elections as opposed to trying to stand by any ideals or even her own morals. This is a critical move that will surely help Trump and I doubt have any real benefit for Haley in the long run who’s desire to appeal to the current GOP is futile as the party shifts further and further away from the ideals of the party over the past fifty years and more into a new style of personality cults, isolationism, strong heads of state, and religious culture wars

Well Republicans should not advocate for Democrats so this is good news.

And that’s the problem. This is what George Washington warned us against. We have devolved so deeply into tribalism over fucking Blue team vs Red team that we will support a goddamn criminal who withheld national security documents to hold in his private collection and is avoiding criminal prosecution on that via corrupt judges. This is not the Republican Party of old and our desire to pretend it is is a fucking joke

The job of an elected Republican or Democrat is to advance the party’s agenda, in my opinion.

While Haley is probably just positioning her future political career, we can pretend that she just thinks Biden is that bad, especially considering she has a Bush/McCain style views on the Middle East and probably thinks Biden isn't pro Israel enough.

Overall politicians like her and McConnell are why the regular GOP haven't got their party back yet, they don't believe in anything except getting rich for being a politician and everyone knows it. If they get some politicians who are seem like they're moderate right because they earnestly believe in it people will connect with it more.

Mega crowd for DT in NYC

Image

"25,000" :funny:

10000% convinced MAGA die hards are so obnoxiously loud these days that polls and media are officially vastly overstating the total size of the cult

I mean it is New York City, so yeah…

But the really concern is that Trump will say 25,000 and people will believe them over their own family and friends

Trump got booed off the stage during a Libertarian convention. Proud of them for being intellectually honest unlike the GOP base as Trump is antithetical to the Libertarian cause more than Biden even as Trump wants to perform the biggest increase of executive power since Nixon or the Civil War

Hasn’t Joe Biden signed more executive orders than Trump ever did?
