Hello,

I am emailing you to ask to be reinstated to the KJ Forum Board. As it has been almost 6 months since I was banned....and I can show that I can follow your rules, as people mentioned in the BKB thread, users have to follow the rules.

and when I was banned, Trixster wrote, I've banned Grill. Until he shows he can post on KJ without insulting everyone and spamming my inbox.

Hopefully you will post a message on the board about your response.

PS. It took me a while to find this email > {Karl's Email} . So IMO you should put either a Contact Us section on the forum board or at least mention it in the FAQ.

PS 2. I never meant to cause trouble but I believe in defending my points, which is why I was cc the top people on my emails. For one I asked why people like BKB, Chip, Speevy and others were getting away with things, that I was being blamed for. (As people talked about in the BKB. That BKB has been doing that for years.

And my discussions were only possible as others matched me post for post, but the other side was never looked at. I remember Jmart going on with me for 6 pages in sports once...but only I got questioned. Or for example, I saw the top guys here going on for about 3 pages on the grammer/commas for the Tinker movie, totally high-jacking the thread, which if I did that, I would have been blasted.

PS3. I only insulted people that insulted me...and got away with it. I know I never insulted Eagle, for example. As I know Chip, would go over the line with curses and personal insults for example.

So all I am saying is that I have had to fight/discuss more than others because more people always came after me. Cause no MOD ever back me up when I was within forum rules.

Thank You...and I hope you will post a message in the site on your decision for my reinstatement request...and that I am unbanned, hopefully.

Users, please feel free to bring up any points you feel worth weighing.

Lecter, please consult with your team and provide a response and reasoning in one way or another.

If what he says about others not getting the same treatment as him has any merit, this should be investigated and addressed.

Bluebomb,

We've bent over backwards for Grill in the past. Many members have targeted him, started fights with him, and taken part in fighting to the same extent he has. The problem is, Grill has always been ... unable to change, unable to have a positive impact outside of that fighting.

If someone accosts him, he strikes back with the intensity cranked up. He is known for borderline spamming the forums with threads that sometimes have minimal value, but often are jibberish. His posts are a mess, his general intelligence level best described as ignorant, and his value to this forum has never been positive.

I'm always one for giving someone the ability to change, and if that's the way Lecter and team wants to go I'm all for it, but it'd have to be with a very short leash and a babysitter.

I do not wish for him to come back.

If people really want this to be the type of forum where BKB and Grill and Korrgan can continue their antics unpunished, then it's not the type of place I want to frequent. If you want this to be professional, then those kind of posters can't be welcome.

And you don't need to consult with the rest of the team as I'm the only one who ever bans anyone here.

To answer this: I banned Chippy as well when he started insulting people. So it's not just Grill.

There doesn't seem to be much point in allowing Grill to return. Everyone knows his routine, and the quality of the e-mail above suggests nothing has changed. He does what he does, it annoys people, and so on and so forth. Nothing positive will come out of his return.

Since I don't think it can hurt to let Grill have his say since we are talking about him:

To KJ Forum,

Eagle, As you posted my initial note, can you post my follow up....Much Appreciated!

* I wasn't suppose to be permanently banned, so that shouldn't be changed now > when I was banned, Trixster wrote, I've banned Grill. Until he shows he can post on KJ without insulting everyone and spamming my inbox.

* As I have discussed many time before. Whenever it was asked if people liked me or should I be on the KJ site....It was always the same 10, popular, people who would comment. But none of the regular people who say a word.

* I know when I was doing my weekly movie thread, for example, it usually was followed by 10 to 15 people, until it was allowed to be trashed by the haters, and then more and more people left.

* Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 people who have supported me! Mav, MovieDude, who spoke out on my behalf, Rev (GO NEW YORK GIANTS)....for starters

* I was right with my off the wall sports comments, which everyone blasted > Yankees over Red Sox! and the Giants would have a good year/team ( and the Giants are in the Super Bowl today!)

* Lastly, I still would love to hear why people couldn't just set me to ignore if they didn't want to read me.

Thank You..

I don't think he should be back either. As trixster pointed out, he is rude and doesn't contribute anything positive to forum. I had him on ignore but if most people put him on ignore that kind of shows what he is.

Is this turning into hostage negotiations? How does BKB figure into the deal?

I would rather have Korrgan and her insanely hateful comments over Grill.

But I would rather have neither.

I say no. I prefer the board not littered with dozens of variations of Obama this that and when a mod closes his thread he really doesnt let go by bringing some point not related at all to his argument. He had like 8 years to curb his behavoir and hasnt shown any progress since then

Grill has been given far too many chances and besides I am not sure that being in this forum is the right thing for him anyway. I suspect he has some issues, to put it mildly. So I do oppose a re-instatement.

Out comes the "professional" opinion again.
