It is now active. You can find the ignore/unignore button right below a persons post, in the same section that has AIM, Profile, and other options. I know ... the button is messed up ... I had to do it manually, it took forever to get it that close. I suck, I'm sorry. If you have any comments, complaints, praise [-o< , lemme know. |

Praise = Congrats on the successful implemention Complaints = None from me = Yesterday was a nice quiet day with lots of movie talk Comments = Haven't looked for it yet but I am not using it. I want access to everything and IF YOU STILL DECIDE TO INSTALL the report button, that will make every poster and post easier to pinpoint. ( And if people overuse it or do it to annoy the MODS then the MODS can decide how they want to treat that person. ) I feel that every post should be within the rules of the forum. ------------------ You didn't ask for questions but here comes one. What happens if the ignore button is on someone who starts a thread. Do you see that thread, is the first post missing. ???????????????? |

No, it is not blocked out actually. All clicking ignore will do is auto replace all the persons posts with "you have this user on your ignore list" nothing more. If you wish to unignore them, simply hitting the unignore button will do the trick. |

Yes it will be overridden. With the way phpbb deals with quoting, there is really no way to stop this ... if there is ... I am not a good enough coder to figure it out .. trust me I tried. |

One problem could happen then if people quote themselve to bring down higher quotes. |

No, anything quoted by the ignored person, is ignored. Problem is if someone else quotes them. |

As I already have named 4 good choices, per others, LOL. It will be a shame if you ignore my picks. LOL. Anyway, I wonder if Rogue will be curious and un-ignore this. LOL. |

Well goldie, that is of course the downside to the whole thing ... I personally know you to be a good poster when you want to be ... and hate to see people ignore those good posts ... but you know there is some kind of issue when they feel that good outweighs the bad. |

Eagle wrote: No, anything quoted by the ignored person, is ignored. Problem is if someone else quotes them. I don't really like the idea of even needing to use the function, but I hope that you figure out how to get around that glitch, because I'm a frequent quoter, and I don't want to irritate anybody by quoting people they are trying to ignore. |

I'm not going to lie, I did. But I un-ignored you. I really just wanted to see how it works. I think everyone has a right to say what they want, to a point. And I don't think you have infringed that point recently. And yes I saw your picks (one was added to the poll)... |

Hey Eagle, Are users allowed to ignore mods? And, well, does this include PMs? So, if, say, Rogue is on Impact's ignore list, and Rogue sends him a PM, will Impact have to unignore Rogue to have it appear in the inbox or will it automatically show and say something like "ignore user to read pm." |
