You may have noticed that for months now anytime you try to load an actual thread it takes at least 3-4 seconds before it loads. I was working on the database to correct this issue and to do so had to lock the posts table.

This caused each query hitting that table to wait for it to unlock, eventually reaching the maximum number of connections allowed at one time, and then throwing errors.

Nothing serious, just unforeseen issues related to the work I was doing taking longer than expected. It's finished now and you should notice that viewing a topic no longer has that additional lag.

I have more work to do, but I'll try and do it a little later at night from now on.
