 Uum, is the board unable to count?

Post Uum, is the board unable to count?
While editing my signature, it said I had 408 characters in my sig. 8 more than allowed. So I removed an entire line, which had around 20 characters. But now it says I have 404 characters. Wtfuckery? I didn't realize the board flunked the 1st grade. What a re-re autisticunt.
