 please leanup the Box Office Bash section.. How many different threads on the summer and Superman, and Mission Impossible 3 and Pirates and X-Men and Da Vinci Code and Summer vs Summer threads do we need. At least half of the threads for each movie could easily be in one thread, many people basically say the same thing in all 2 or 3 or 4 for the same movie. I find it annoying. Can someone do something about this stuff so I can keep my sanity please!

I wouldn't say merge all threads possible, but do we really need a SR under $200 million and a SR under Batman Begins? Is it really that important to make the distinction? Surely there are some clear redundancies that don't belong.

Well, I merged the two Superman Returns clubs, "under $200 million" and "less than Batman Begins." I don't know what else to merge, though. The other ones have distinct differences, and well...it's summer.

The short answer is it's summer. The longer version is that I always prefer let natural selection decides. Popular threads will stay on the first page. I mean, we have a daily number thread every 24 hours, and we hardly notice or feel they're redundant or suggest it's necessary to have only one daily thread for each day of the week, because we are used to the cycle.

Don't bother with making clubs rules and such. The uninteresting and repeated clubs will fall off the page since no one is interested.
