Kevin Smith in 2019 obviously isn't the same Kevin Smith from 20 years ago, but this still looks like a lot of fun. It would likely be impossible for this to be as good as Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but let's hope it's still a good continuation (ending?) of the View Askewniverse.

Snootch to the nootch

Man the years have not been kind to Jason Mews. I'm not expecting this to be nearly as good as Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but hopefully it ends up at least being decent. Kevin Smith has changed so much in the recent years though.

To be fair to Mewes, he's 45 and a recovering drug addict. If he had his short hair again, he'd probably look decent for his age. He looked his best during Zack and Miri though. With the long hair, it's hard not to compare him to the kid (in age and mentality) Jay was from Clerks to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Also really cool that Smith was able to get Matt Damon and Ben Affleck for cameos. I was sure their days of working with him were long gone, especially Affleck.

I'm sure it's a fairly small role, but I'm stoked for Melissa Benoist.

Disappointed if there's no Mark Hamill as Cocknocker.

Looks like Val Kilmer though, which is cool. Glad to see him slightly coming back after his crazy health scare.

This looks kind of meh. Especially when Clerks II was really good. Though it's really hard to judge a trailer filled with throwback jokes and cameos.

I'm sure the whole thing is throwback jokes and cameos. I don't expect this to stand with the rest of his View Askewniverse. I think his heart attack forced him to write this so he could have at least one last film with his friends on his resume, and so that he doesn't die with Yoga Hosers as his last movie (though I haven't seen it yet, it sounds pretty bad).
