Theron is beautiful of course. I'm mildly concerned only in that unlike the good first 2 Aliens, where grungy realism was prominent, this one is packed with "pretty people". Not that they can't act but it's a different approach. We'll see.

I can see Theron not being the type of maybe 2% of heterosexual males, but to say she's ugly is just crazy. Even if you aren't that into her you just cannot call her ugly.

All the pod things where the facehuggers live in the room with the giant head
That shot of the alien hanging from the roof (or could it be a scultpure of it? or a primitive form?)


If they just explain the distress beacon from the first Alien at the end of this I will be completely satisfied. Most anticipated movie of the summer fo' sure.

Also another shot makes it look like there could be a facehugger. I'm thinking a Bio weapon is seeming more and more likely. I'm interested to see what causes the planets entire atmosphere to go to shit as it looks pretty normal in this one, and what happens to all the casings around the eggs or the giant head.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks bad? Well cut trailer but the generic hack alien film jumps off the screen to me. Also nobody should trust Ridley at this point. Like whatsoever.

I'm not sure if this was the trailer shown before Titanic 3D (I'm on my mobile and don't want to check it out right now), but this looked astonishing in the theater. Much better than on the computer when I first saw the trailers.

My instincts with trailers are actually quite good. I am right about whether I will like or dislike the movie 80-90% of the time after seeing the trailer

no one is doubting whether your initial instincts are a good prelude to your final opinion.
