He is favorite right now. I'm not really feeling it myself but I haven't seen Bullet Train yet.

It's a no from me. But at least he's not Regé-Jean Page.

I like ATJ, just not feeling him as Bond exactly either.

They should either wait a few more years before casting a new Bond or let an older actor like Elbis do one or two, same as Dalton. Restarting the series with ATJ would be    .

I'd reserve judgment till seeing him in action, cuz like everyone thought Craig would be terrible and then Casino Royale blew everyone's socks off.

I watched the first episode of the Apple show Slow Horses and the main character is spy in training played by Jack Lowden who is 32. If the rumors of wanting a young Bond are true the character could be similar so my assumption is he is a candidate. Then again he played the jabroni brother in Fighting With My Family so maybe that says something about having a generic look.

He'd probably be OK but not feelin it either. The fact that he's met with them doesn't mean a whole lot just yet other than he's a serious contender.

I'd like them to give Dan Stevens a chance.

Do we really need another Bond? They finally
Spoiler: show
killed him off
in the last one. Why not use the awesome resources of Hollywood to tell more exciting, original stories instead of the 19188585th installment in a dusty franchise that has the same plot as every other installment.

Bond is classic cinema so needs to continue but he feels like a too safe choice here.

$$$ + lack of originality in Hollywood + audiences not actually going to see original films as they should + $$$$

The same reason that every time a new car model comes out it's not got three steering wheels, twenty wheels, and a dishwasher in the back. If something ain't broke, don't fix it.

It's slightly disheartening when you hear an interesting new film project is up and then it's attached to Apple, Amazon or Netflix.

The On Her Majesty's Secret Service star, George Lazenby, says Liam Hemsworth has the goods to play James Bond. I think I can use the same response from before, lol:

Agree. Terrible choice. Especially considering how negatively his Witcher casting has been received. Interestingly, replacing Cavill (who many want as Bond)

And Lazenby is an Aussie so the Hemsworth choice might come from a loaded question or just be parochial bias.

I love how quick they were to get the sequel ready, and the title is very good. Simple, nothing ingenius, but it works.

Quote:
Technically, the two latest instalments in Disney's Avengers super hero saga cost more to make than even The Force Awakens. Both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame were made by Assembled Productions III which has spent a total of $1.2 billion (£1 billion) since it was incorporated in 2016 according to its latest financial statements. However, as both films were made by the same production company it isn't possible to tell precisely how much was spent on each one.

In contrast, analysis of 39 sets of financial statements reveals that Disney has spent a total of $2.3 billion (£1.9 billion) making the six Star Wars productions in the UK. That really does make it a force to be reckoned with.
