I mean yes, it's a magic film so he can literally change his appearance to anyone and say "he is hiding" blah blah blah. I guess they could bring Colin Farrell back, that would be the only thing that would work (loved him in the first) Or imagine if Jude Law played an evil version, then we'd get some crazy Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus parallel.

Re: Johnny Depp out of Fantastic Beasts 3 Yeah, it'd be wrong to keep Amber on Aquaman 2 unless they disclose sufficient evidence.
Not exactly disappointed in Depp exiting, even though I'm a fan of his, since I was torn on his portrayal of Grindelwald (or at least the character's look). I enjoyed the second film enough, and would likely stream it (or catch it in theaters if that's still a thing).

JK Rowling can't write scripts for shit and the films are fatally flawed because they are centred on the terrible character of Credence and at this point there's no way to get out of that, narratively speaking. It's the same problem the new Star Wars reboot (I mean, sequels) had after the second film.
Reading HP, we all had this epic idea of what the war against Grindelwald was and 'The Crimes of Grindelwald' was so bad that it actively tarnished the idea of it.
Financially speaking, between JKR's bizarre fixation on trans women and Depp's ongoing legal saga and now firing, the film is full of toxic buzz anyway and will probably see another big decline.
