Re: Favorite Robert De Niro movie? Heat obviously, but I actually like Pacino more in that movie. My favorite performance from DeNiro is The King of Comedy.

Midnight Run, followed by Awakenings, Casino, Goodfellas, Ronin, Brazil, and Heat.But I mean it's DeNiro, he's great in Untouchables, Gadfather (Though I think that the role got him the award) TD and RB, KOC, even when he shows up in movies like Intern. And he was great in the minor Being Flynn.

Re: Favorite Robert De Niro movie? Somehow De Niro does not click for me. Only seen the recent movies and some classic movies of him. I liked him in Silver Linings Playbook but I don't like that movie.
From the lot I'll go with Meet the Parents for me because I like that movie and his performance in that movie

I always found Focker's pretty interesting, that they stretched 3 films thanks to Jim Carrey developing the best jokes, then dropped out because of the production with The Grinch. I've always gotten a kick out of films like that, another was Kevin Costner personally offering Harrison Ford Air Force One when The Post Man became another production nightmare for Costner.

Re: Favorite Robert De Niro movie? I chose Casino, although its pretty much a tie between it and Goodfellas. De Niro has done alot of great stuff though, so its almost hard to choose from so many iconic and classic films, but Casino and Goodfellas always stood out the most to me, but his work in Analyze This and Meet the Parents is pretty underrated, because I also really enjoyed him in those movies as well.

Re: Favorite Robert De Niro movie? I think Carrey would have been fine. He actually has never really done that type of comedy duo which would have been interesting. AFO sounds like Costner was going going for a everyday ford type hero, so yeah Ford obviously played it with ease
