I'd probably lean Castaway at the top. 127 Hours probably being a close 2nd. The Martian, Gravity, Into the Wild, I Am Legend are all up there. And The Grey was pretty dope.

I think you'll love The Martian a lot, you should watch it whenever you get chance. While I think you might enjoy Life of Pi don't think it will make your top 4 list.

Gravity
Life of Pi
All is Lost (I’m thinking not many have seen this, it’s Robert Redford in a boat. Quite simple but for me very engaging and powerful)
Close behind would be The Revenant, Into the Wild, maybe 127 Hours. Was never crazy about Castaway.

Re: BATTLE of the SIMILAR FILMS 5 - Survival films Gravity and Cast Away are the best survival films on this list, but The Edge deserves way more recognition than it has gotten IMO. Such an underrated flick and I actually prefer it over The Revanant to be honest.
