This is such a difficult list to pick from. The first few that I can short list are Hereditary, The Favourite and Roma (with honorable mentions to A Star is Born, Unsane and Searching) I will go with Roma (because it has stayed with me more than the other two). |

This is weak list. A Star Is Born should have won the Oscar but I guess that it is a remake of a remake of a remake of a remake. Green Book was sure good at making old white people feel less racist and I guess that is the most important thing these days. |

Annihilation. Others I loved are Hereditary, Eighth Grade and A Star is Born. |
