Re: Most Anticipated in AUGUST 2018
Not a great month for me.
1. The Meg 2. Slender Man 3. Juliet, Naked
That's only because of O'Dowd. I couldn't care if I see The Meg and miss all the others.

Re: Most Anticipated in AUGUST 2018
What a weak month.
I'm picking Juliet, Naked purely as a proxy, haven't even seen a trailer.
1. Juliet, Naked 2. Mile 22 3. The Meg

Re: Most Anticipated in AUGUST 2018
I read Meg like 15 years ago and have been waiting for the movie ever since. Am I disappointed that it is a Chinese production? A little. Does Jason Statham make sense in the lead role of a marine paleontologist? Not at all. But who cares? A shark is gonna eat a helicopter and I’m all in for that.
Christopher Robin looks great too. Major nostalgia kick there. And unless the word is really bad, I’ll go to The Spy Who dumped Me. Mila and Kate look like they are having a blast together.

Re: Most Anticipated in AUGUST 2018
Oh, The Meg is based on a book? Didn't know that. I just thought it was being made as a big budget version of one of those Asylum Croc-raptor vs. Shark-topus -type films. Ah well, who cares. If anyone, having seen even one poster for it, seriously attends expecting a respectful literary adaptation, man are they retarded.

Re: Most Anticipated in AUGUST 2018
Well the book is pretty silly too. It begins with the shark eating a T-Rex, which almost certainly won't make the movie for budget reasons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meg:_A_No ... eep_Terror

Oh not only does it eat the T-Rex, but it recreates the opening scene of Jaws with a T-Rex.

Christopher Robin and The Meg for me. I'm curious about Searching, Blackkklansman and Happytime Murders, but I won't be in any rush to see those.

I’ll see a bunch of these, but the only one I’m really close to anticipating is Blackkklansman.

Re: Most Anticipated in AUGUST 2018
Pretty meh month.
Miseducation of Cameron Post and Happytime Murders top my list. I'm interested in The Meg, Spy Who Dumped Me, BlacKkKlansman, Alpha, Christopher Robin, and Juliet, Naked too but I'm not genuinely excited for anything this month.

You never know. The budget is like 150 Million. Most likely you're right but it would be cool.

So I've heard vague rumors about this being really good. I LOVED the director's Room but this looks pretty dull, IMO. If reviews are great I'll probably see it though.
