Strange choice, but I kinda like it. Even though the books are expertly written, the core story is certainly nothing unique. Harry Potter in Lord of the Rings. Music is a big part of Kvothe's, the protaginist, identity. So going heavy on that might end up being a great, helps it stand out among the pack and will certainly improve the box office prospects.

I love In the Heights and Hamilton as much as the next guy but I am so fucking sick of seeing Lin everywhere.

This. He's so overexposed.

Hollywood seems to think he's the next big thing. I don't mind, he seems like a genuine talent and is very charismatic and down to earth.

I would love more of him, to be honest.

He is talented but what's crazy about it is that he was probably the weakest actual performer IN "Hamilton" (which he'd probably admit). Leslie Odom Jr. was like a thousand times better and there's a reason he won the Tony. It's too bad he isn't getting the same kind of exposure though I know he's doing Murder On The Orient Express.

Lin's a great writer and storyteller though. I just need a break from seeing his face for a bit until Mary Poppins comes out ;)

Not for me lol. Besides SNL, this is the first time he's stepped into my world. And without him, Kingkiller Chronicles would be DOA if ever even released. Now we get atleast a solid budget on The Name of the Wind.
