I've been an avid reader of Entertainment Weekly for years now, but has anyone else noticed their articles have a lot more to do with politics and why Trump sucks rather than reporting on entertainment. I unfollowed them on social media and I'm considering not reading their magazine anymore.

Their current main article is about The CW Superheroes.

Way to be a baby.

Yeah i used to buy the magazines and back issues as well but no longer do. On facebook - they have become ridiculously political and anti Trump. I'll turf them if they dont get back to movies, tv, music etc

The entertainment industry as a whole is almost entirely liberal too, so don't know what to tell you.

Indeed. Though i think he meant that they should stay out of politics and just report (mainly) on entertainment subjects which i agree.

I don't mind liberal articles on principle, but it should be about Entertainment

Well to be fair they are reporting on entertainment. Usually their anti-Trump stuff does involve celebrities not supporting him. And he is a celebrity. It's mostly just on Facebook. I don't notice much about it in the actual magazine.

Entertainment Weekly has been like my Bible for YEARS. I love it. Can't imagine ever not having a subscription. And at least they took the right stance politically. ;)

They should just be neutral and report the damn entertainment news!

Follow the money - the same corporation that owns Entertainment Weekly was part owner of Hillary Clinton.

I buy the magazine when they have something on the cover I want to read about, but I don't buy it automatically anymore like I once did.

I love magazines and I'll buy them till they don't sell them anymore. Same with paper books, CDs and Blurays.

It is funny because i do like to collect books and magazines still where i can but have given up on DVD/bluray a while back. For others, it may be the other way around - while many others prefer everything digital.

So do magazines. Check eBay. In a few years your DVDs or Blu-Rays will be worthless. Magazines appreciate with age.

So do Blu-rays. Check eBay. In a few years first run magazines will be extinct.

Also, how will they be worthless? Will the machine magically stop working?

Or we can cut the wait time down and just use vinyl as a comparison. Physical media that isn't disposable is not disappearing in any of our lifetimes.
