So this was brought to my attention while watching the film and I found it hard not to see how the invasion of the pigs is an analogy of how a country deals with immigration, in this case particular how Europe is affected by the refugee crisis. This youtube vid below summarizes those thoughts. Does anyone agree the film is made with the intent of being an allegory of the refugee crisis or are the two completely unrelated? |
