Flava'd vs The World wrote: How can you give Bolt an F? Its boring and too sentimental. I hate kid loses dog, kid is reunited with dog movies. Hence why Oliver and Company also has an F. Fantasia is literal torture to sit through. Peter Pan is kind of dull for me. The Jungle Book has good elements, but the film is too slow. |

This is my old, and ultimately unfinished attempt, at watching all the Disney films. (in a certain timeframe) 1. Hunchback of Notre Dame 2. Wreck It Ralph 3. Frozen 4. Aladdin 5. Treasure Planet 6. Aristocats 7. Brother Bear 8. Winnie the Pooh 9. Hercules 10. Lady and the Tramp 11. Robin Hood 12. Pinocchio 13. Fox and the Hound 14. Sleeping Beauty 15. Fantasia 2000 16. Fantasia 17. Rescuers Down Under 18. Jungle Book 19. Bambi 20. Peter Pan 21. Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad 22. Mulan 23. Little Mermaid 24. Oliver & Company 25. Great Mouse Detective 26. Dinosaur 27. Alice in Wonderland 28. Black Cauldron 29. Cinderella 30. Home on the Range 31. Rescuers 32. Melody Time 33. Fun and Fancy Free 34. Make Mine Music 35. Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh 36. Saludos Amigos 37. Sword in the Stone 38. Three Caballeros Films Seen Before: Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Tarzan, Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Llilo & Stitch, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt, Tangled, Snow White, Dumbo, Princess and the Frog Not Seen: 101 Dalmatians, Zootopia I don't mind watching them all again at some point. Probably not Princess and the Frog which is pretty terrible. As for the seen list, I wouldn't watch most of them again. Probably everything outside the top 8. |

The only part of Fabtasia I like is the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Everything else is boring. |

How can you give any animated feature an F? I mean, unless The Wayans made a cartoon someday, I'm not sure how you couldn't derive an iota of enjoyment out of any animated film. |

Uhhh what's wrong with Oliver and Company and The Rescuers? Zootopia is great but I think I'll give it some time before I say where it stands. |

Mister Ecks wrote: How can you give any animated feature an F? I mean, unless The Wayans made a cartoon someday, I'm not sure how you couldn't derive an iota of enjoyment out of any animated film. Its more so to do with my expectations. A few years ago, I'd only seen the classics, and I expected every Disney movie to be on par. But I just found Oliver, Rescuers and Bolt to be so childish and unambiguous, that they were highly disappointing. I realized Disney had mediocre animated films in them. I've only seen each one once, maybe if I watched them again I'd like them more. But I remember them being very poor experiences for me. |

I think a lot of the recent CGI ones like Chicken Little, Brother Bear, Treasure Island, Atlantis, are in the C-D range productions. But almost every Disney animated film is B or better. Outside of probably The Rescuers down under. I mean the thought of Lady and the Tramp and or Pinocchio or any disney classic as a sub A film is just absurd, just on mere (Hey maybe it isn't your cup of tea, but at least on a story or technical level they are near perfect films) Also gotta give extra love for the 3 of the few not mentioned: The Adventures of Ichabob and Toad Fun and Fancy Free (Remaking it over the next two years: But Dam you can't beat Mickey Donald and Goofy) Saludos Amigos I wonder what an actual film with Goofy, Mickey, and Donald would do today. I think there is definite potential. I mean, especially since they are the face of Toddler's even more so than ever for Disney. |

I've always wondered why A Goofy Movie wasn't considered a 'Disney Pictures' films and I finally read that it's cause it was made by the Television department of Disney. It deserves to be part of that list though. |

A Goofy Movie was made by the people who make all the DTV sequels. |

I've seen others but don't really remember them well (such as 101 Dalmations). The only ones I really remember are the ones in the list, but even counting all of them I've probably only seen at max. 12. Then I've seen others that I don't know if they were a film or not. Disney's catalogue is so huge that it's hard to tell. The one with Mickey as a wizard, for example. I watched a lot of Looney Tunes and other TV animation houses when I was younger. Probably not Disney. Though I have seen Brother Bear (because my youngest brother had it on often when he was younger) but I don't remember it at all. |

Saying that Fantasia is not one of Disney's animated feature films is absurd. Fantasia had an unusual 'Fantasound' roadshow release in it's early years, and Disney's international release strategy was much different in the 40's and 50's, but the original video release in 1991 was available worldwide. I have seen individual song sequences from Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' movie, but that doesn't mean it's not a feature film. |
