Remember after Swingers when Vaughn was a huge fuckin' deal in Hollywood? Like he was everywhere. I wonder if he lies in bed at night and wonders what the fuck happened. |

I believe he is trying to change his reputation to more of a serious actor. Doing Term Life isn't a Nic Cage-type deal where he just needs all the roles he can get. |

That's not it. Billingsly has been great friends with both favrau and Vaughn since the 80s. They've helped him out a lot. His film producing career (Elf, Iron Man, the break up, Four Christmases, Couples retreat, etc) was dependent of them. Sounds like the film from his has been in trouble for years. |

Well, he IS trying to change from a comedy guy to a serious actor. So what I said is true. You don't do True Detective and Hacksaw Ridge if you're still trying to be a comedy guy. But it seems for Term Life, it is just a favour to an old friend. |

He never works as the main lead. He's always best as an ensemble or big costar. Kevin James and Dave Franco are rough substitutes. I think he'll end up with a solid role in Hacksaw Ridge. |
