"it's that time again!" - someone
*1. The Grand Budapest Hotel *2. Boyhood *3. Noah 4. Snowpiercer 5. X-Men: Days of Future Past 6. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 7. Edge of Tomorrow 8. The Lego Movie
* indicates an assured place on my final list.... #4 and 5 have a decent chance but not a given.
that's all I can do for now, I don't want to include any movie B or lower.
Wholly expecting Interstellar to make it here. I fucking cried watching the trailer for chrissake. Exodus: Gods and Kings looked pretty boss too (excepting the utter caucasianness of all the Jewish and Egyptian characters). Add in a number of films I don't know about, maybe a guilty pleasure or two, and we might have ourselves a fine year of cinema.

 Re: Top 10 of 2014
I've really not seen much at all this year - my entire list:
The Grand Budapest Hotel Captain America : The Winter Soldier Guardians of the Galaxy
The Lego Movie 300: Rise of an Empire Non Stop Godzilla
The Top 3 are top notch.
