At the very least I'm glad I won't have to hear nutsos complain about the Snyder cut anymore. Also, I'm sure it'll be *amazing* and completely different from everything else Snyder's ever made ;)

I think the point is that people want something that feels like a Snyder film. JL didn't really.

Whether that's bad or not...

I guess mostly I kind of find rewarding the bad behavior of a largely negative & rude bunch of loudmouths distasteful ;) I don't even have kids but I know you don't give in to temper tantrums unless you're ready for all the rest that follow once they know it works.

So, if anyone would like that Edgar Wright Ant-Man we never got to see or what Whedon's Age of Ultron cut would've been without all the studio meddling, just to name a couple Marvel movies off the top of my head, or any of the countless other almost-movies we've had over the years go ahead and shout that from the rooftops until you get your way--loudest & most obnoxious wins

I mean, that's always been true. But I think WB also sees this as good advertising. This isn't going to turn anyone AWAY from HBO Max. This will only draw people, even if it's the "wrong" kind of people.

As annoying and as toxic as I think the fanbase is, I don't think this specific campaign was rude/negative. Except towards Whedon, which was obviously unwarranted.

Amusingly, if they retool it’s as a miniseries and it actually becomes well liked, it kind of puts WB in a even more awkward spot as to what to do with DCEU.

I'm hoping it's 6 part mini-series and it's a success....so that it'll motivate them to make high quality DC streaming shows ala D+ & Marvel.

Henry Cavill is in talks to return as Superman. But not in his own film.

Probably Shazam 2.

I would assume Black Adam, as well. Since WW84 and TSS are already shot, not those. It would be hilarious if he made a cameo in The Batman.

The Batman does seems to have everyone he’s ever fought in it so far. Why not?

Black Adam isn’t a bad idea, but I think that could still be in Shazam 2? Like Black Adam goes over Supea and now Shazam is like how the fuck am I supposed to beat him?

Haven't some rumors suggested it might simply be about the Snyder Cut, commingsoon ran a similarly vague update on JK Simmons as commissioner Gordon's return. I mean the "Black Suit" Superman was probably the biggest thing cut that everyone is begging for the most.

I would love for just a standalone film. But if he appeared in say The Flash, then really only Batman needs to be retooled, and if Shazam, and the others come through for another JL, at least they have a new direction to go in. At best, I'd say Cavill only has 4-5 years left in the role (Unless they did like an aged Superman which would be cool too)

Big News. The Snyder cut will also finally use the infamous cut "nuclear man 1" scenes from Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

About time they pulled that card out. Nostalgia for the Tim Burton Batman series is the one huge thing they have over Marvel.

I always wanted them to bring Keaton back as Bruce in a Batman Beyond film.

Awesome.

I remember when Keaton was announced to cameo in Burton's Superman Lives. Thank you X-Men franchise DOFP and Logan definitely made a pipe dream a reality. Now if only Cameron and Neil can get that Aliens sequel back on track.

Will it help if Keaton is in a bigger role in future Batman movie(s)? I don't think it will but a cameo "might" help with fans though right now getting fans of DC movies in theaters does not seem to be a problem.

Now that it's out there I want an entire Flash movie set in the Burton-Batverse.
