They wouldn't dare open against a Marvel film though. I recall when Batman vs. Superman was up against Civil War. Good thing for both films (but BvS especially) that that it didn't stay that way. |

Not just a Marvel film, but any superhero/comic-book movie....there are enough weeks in the year that you don't need to open in the same one as one of those. |

The Ezra Miller Flash movie has been delayed to 2021. Someone pointed out that Miller was cast a month after the CW series premiered and that the film, at earliest, will be released sometime during the show's eighth season. That's one long development cycle. |

Bradley Cooper should direct Guardians if he does not win the Oscar. Any outsider brought in will face scrutiny from the cast and audience. If he does win then I'd encourage him to take a blank check and make whatever the hell he wants - Nolan style. |

So like... wtf is going on with New Mutants. They should've just released it last year if these reshoots and what not didn't do it any favors. I did see that the trailer description has the August release date but idk. |

Did they even do the reshoots yet? It's been remarkably quiet. I did see the director set his Instagram (which had been filled with updates/photos/art of the movie) to "private" when the delays were announced but it seems it's public again now. Honestly, if it's bad I'd prefer they just bury it and send it to streaming so we can get a shot at a real New Mutants introduction in the MCU. |
