It counts Kill Bill as one. But it also includes My Best Friend's Birthday, Four Rooms, that scene for Sin City and his episodes of ER and CSI. Which means he officially retired after Death Proof.

Re: Tarantino to retire after tenth film
Episodes are not films, just saying.
He's been saying this for years (Hence why most subtitles on the posters are usually "The so and so # film by Quentin Tarantino"
We have to get there first and see. That just means #9 and 10 have to be epic. At least one more modern day film too

Lol
That will mean he'll probably do KB vol 3 after Hateful 8 and then one more film.
But if you read the interview - he leaves it open to direct again. Which I'm sure he'll do. If anything he'd probably direct again after a gap shorter than the one between Jackie and KB.

Apparently he is looking at Tom Cruise for his tenth movie (or maybe the Manson flick). Either way, Tarantino + Cruise is just awesome. Exactly what Cruise needs.

Will Cruise have the balls to work with Tarantino? Doubt it

I didn't hear about Cruise but did hear he wanted DiCaprio and Pitt in this one. It could be somewhat of a career revival for Cruise.
His 9th film is apparently not about the Manson killings but they do feature in it. Set in 1969 - a year perfect for QT's sensibilities.

Re: Tarantino to retire after tenth film
I'd never seen this clip before. But I liked watching it. It shows Tarantino The Director, but he's only made one film at that point, so he's still a nerdy, nervous, geek director, as opposed to the much more composed one he is today. He goes back to his old video store that he worked at for 5 years called Video Archives.
