This is very sad. His performance in Mona Lisa is one of the greatest ever. I also love him in The Long Good Friday, Felicia's Journey, and others. A titan of British acting.

Yep, despite of being a weird and bad film, his character has always been fun to watch

His roles were entertaining and demanding in films like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Hook and Mona Lisa.

RIP

RIP Nikita Khrushchev. Nice guy.

I only found out today that Peaches Geldof also died. I guess with Phillip Seymour Hoffman, that makes it 3 famous deaths in a relatively short time period. Maybe I'm forgetting someone.

Mickey Rooney died recently, too.

Yeah, I didn't forget him. He's a) not famous anymore, b) not a shock death, and c) not known to me.

I only found out (again) today that Peaches Geldof died. I think that says a lot about just how important she was and will ever be as a media personality. :funny:

To be fair, I thought the same thing. Aw man, Bob Hoskins died? ... wait... didn't he die already? Then I started feeling guilty for thinking he died until I clicked into this thread and, yup, he sure is dead already.
