While I don't necessarily doubt that his real passion is directing, the whole "quitting acting" thing almost seems like he's positioning himself for future Marvel negotiations. |

If this is for real and not a negotiation tactic: it will probably follow the standard "quit, fail, national joke, obscurity, miracle of scoring lead on hit network crime procedural" pattern, ala David Caruso. |
