I know most of you have probably never heard the name, but he has won three Oscars for producing One Flew over Cuckoo's Nest, Amadeus and The English Üatient and he also produced Mosquito Coast, Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings and The Unbearable Lightness of Being. RIP |

RIP Saul. Big name in the film industry especially in the 60s through to the 90s. |

I enjoy or love most of the films he produced, particularly The English Patient (a top-100 favorite for me) and Amadeus. His list of production credits is very small, particularly compared to a Scott Rudin type figure, but every project is interesting and by a talented director, even if the final result fell short of expectations, as was the case with Goya's Ghosts. |
