They continue to muck up Spider-Man. Should have been MEW or Panabaker or even Amber Heard. Alexandra Daddario would have been a good choice too. Her eyes make her look like she is a comic book character it is kind of creepy how blue they are.

Will wait and see, does not look like she is wearing any makeup here, with that in mind she does not look bad at all.

They need to stop casting based on actors who were just in popular movies at the time they're doing casting because wow, she looks nothing like what MJ is supposed to look. Someone at IMDB described her as looking like Channing Tatum in drag

I thought she was really good in The Descendants. Am not crazy about how she looks in the pics but she definitely needs some makeup on, which will obviously improve things. I'll wait for the movie to pass judgment on how she does.

I would have loved to have seen Danielle Panabaker as Mary Jane. Amber Heard though not at all. Don't get me wrong, I like her and she's flippin' gorgeous, but not right for this role at all. For one she's too old. I'd like to see her get a role in a franchise film but in a more fitting role.

Too old? She's less than a year older than Panabaker and is much hotter still. She keeps her body in much better shape judging by recent photos of both actresses. Actually, they should have cast Katie Cassidy, who is gorgeous and can be seen to your left.

Well Panabaker looks a bit younger I guess. And Heard doesn't have the right look for Mary Jane. They should cast her in the Fantastic Four reboot or something.

Granted thats a shocking pic but we need to see how she looks in make-up. She looked good in The Descendants.

Dunst was a great Mary Jane. I remember after seeing the first Spider-Man I was obsessed and buying like every magazine with her on the cover. LOL. I swear it wasn't in a creepy way, I was just a fan.

Wasn't MJ supposed to have model good looks? That's what other people keep saying as to why Woodley is bad casting.

I think I'll wait until the promo pics come out to judge. Set pictures are usually quite misleading. And Shailene Woodley should be awesome. I've rewatched The Descendants recently and I think she could def pull off MJ.
