ComingSoon.net received a really cool fold-out card from Pixar Animation Studios today, the last day of 2012. The card says, "Wishing you many happy adventures in 2013 and beyond!" It also features concept art from four of their upcoming releases, which you can see below!

Bill Hader, Judy Greer, and Lucas Neff will all be sibling dino's in Good Dinosaur.

Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, Amy Poehler, and Phyllis Smith will voice "Riley's" emotions in Inside Out.

With three original titles on the horizon, I'd be optimistic that Pixar has turned a corner and has rehabiliated themselves after this three year sequel/prequel/crapquel infestation...but there, looming like a violent storm cloud of artistic emptiness, is goddamn Finding Dory.

That's not going to inspire anybody. Pixar's history is about 25 years (and producing movies it is even less at about 17 years), and they have about 12 movies, some of which are sequels. Being "one of" the best characters in such a short history is not worth boasting about.

Pixar is the default for CGI animated movies, for sure. I also quite like their films, but they are not classics. They are also pretty boring and safe-bet movies. DreamWorks and Fox take more risks, and the pay-off is greater. Pixar are definitely the favourite with audiences, though. But this just confirms my assessment of Yanks; they like boring shit.

Coco looks meh. But the US has a large Hispanic population, so it can do well.
