Post Frequent moviegoers: your most hated current trailer?
I have a theory (cue a person telling me I'm dead wrong, lol): every frequent moviegoer has one trailer they completely hate by the time the film comes out because they've seen it so many times. This problem can, of course, be compounded if the film is delayed for months ("I'm a doo-lee appointed Federal Mah-shawl"), thus extending how long its trailer is shown.

A recent one, in my opinion, was the Total Recall trailer. I groaned in my soul every time I would hear the whoosh of a hover car followed by Colin Farrell bemoaning how his life has turned out. ;) Too bad I still had faith in the final product and wasted my money.

Right now, I'm growing a bit tired of the Argo trailer. It seems to be attached to nearly every movie. I'm excited for the movie, though.

I'm also tired of the trailer (red-band or green) for For a Good Time, Call... For a movie which seems incredibly dated and low-profile, this trailer gets a LOT of play in my area.

The Pitch Perfect trailer is one I haven't seen so many times, but it might be the most painful. The part where the male singing group is all copping an attitude while performing "Mickey," and Anna Kendrick can't stand it anymore and interrupts with a soaring and obviously lip synced "No Diggity" = CRINGE WORTHY.

And Timothy Green.

Rebel Wilson cracks me up, so I was satisfied with them highlighting her in the trailer.

Poor Anna Kendrick (and Adam DeVine) for getting stuck with Pitch Perfect. It does indeed look cringe-worthy.

Also does Here Goes the Boom. Take two horrible things (Kevin James + UFC) and make them into a movie that looks even worse. Also, I hate when trailers like this do scenes like the basketball one where you know how the joke is going to play out but they just waste too much time playing out so that general audience dumbasses can get their laughs.

I'm also tired of seeing the Taken 2 trailer.

I'm about 4/4 on the last movies I've seen playing the Argo trailer. Definitely a bit sick of it.

The Words trailer, for sure.

The first half isn't totally terrible but as soon as that song kicks in I want to punch the screen.

I can't think of anything currently. In the past the one that always comes to mind is the movie Hitch. I remember seeing that trailer with everything. It was so annoying.

Oh, I misread it, my bad. I would say the most hated current trailer: The Words.

Actually, even though I probably see more movies in thetares than anyone else here, there is no single trailer at the moment that stands out by being screened far more often than anything else.

I remember from the past, however, that National Treasure 2 used to screen with seemingly every single movie I have seen back then.

The new Gangster Squad trailer is attached to almost every movie I see. I'm definitely tired of it now. Tired of hearing, "You're talking to God, so you might as well swear to me."

Keep seeing the Cold War trailer. Looks good, but I don't want to see it again. Might go and see it today and see if the trailer is attached to the film itself.

I've seen the Oz trailer a lot now, but I don't mind it. It is short, and the B&W to color transition is fun.
