The Whole Ten Yards was nowhere near as great as the first, but I still enjoyed it.

Willard was very solid.

Oh, I know one. The movie They. I thought it was good, and the atmosphere was great.

My Blueberry Nights

It's not Chungking Express or In the Mood for Love level good, but it is good.

Oh, and The Village is Shyamalan's best movie by far. His masterpiece. Incredibly effective as a thriller, as a romance, and even as a piece of social commentary. Roger Deakins and James Newton Howard at the peak of their powers in their respective fields.

Sad so many people hate it.

Even though it's softer and streamlined, I highly enjoy the Alfie remake.

The Alfie remake was really good.

The Village is definitely Shyamalan's best, IMO.

While i really like The Village, i honestly dont think its M. Night's best, for me its Signs  The Sixth Sense is also great but its kind of boring at times.

I highly enjoy Signs and, in fact, Lady in the Water, but both pale in comparison to The Village.

Signs hasn't aged especially well, though. It's never as fun or thrilling on DVD as it was the first time in the theatre.

Where did the original poster say that they have to be good movies? He said hated movies by everyone that you like.

I have a name you know! :disgust:

Unless you mean "original poster" as in THE Original Poster, the best of the best, the man that other men wish they were and women wish they were with, the big kahuna, the real deal. The original.

If so, then that is perfectly acceptable!

Correct. I never claimed The Whole Ten Yards is a good movie, nor would I. It's very much a bad movie, but in its awfulness I found a lot more to enjoy than many other movies that have much more positive reputations. I would honestly prefer to watch it again over, say, The Reader. Not that I'll likely ever watch either one again.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Therfore I s'pose it suits this thread, at least on this forum.

I love Babel, too.

The original poster as in 'I didn't feel like going back one page to see who started the thread'. Is that acceptable?

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is Burton's worst film.

Haven't seen that many Burton films but AiW was fucking terrible, committed the cardinal sin of boredom.

I enjoyed Alice in Wonderland.

(Burton's best is Ed Wood, IMO.)
