No, this hasn't been announced, but I really think they should make a sequel with Portman's character as an adult. Would be very cool, IMO. |

Nah. The appealing alchemy of the original would be too hard to replicate. Chances are it would just become another medicore Hollywood "tough chick" movie with a wooden Natalie Portman performance. |

I wouldn't expect it to be as great as the original, but it could be fun regardless. |

I wouldn't want the legacy of one of the most exciting and oddly touching films of the '90s to be sullied with some years-later cash-in that's merely "fun." |

There has been talks of a sequel. Apparently the cast/crew are interested. |
