I'm very excited for Fish Tank and the first part of Mesrine. Both were ones I would've definitely seen in theatres had I had the opportunity.

Chances are I'll buy the Sweet Smell of Success Blu-ray in the future.

I saw Megamind, Due Date, and Get Low in theatres and enjoyed them, but I'm not too eager to own any of them.

Mike, no interest in Mesrine? They're supposed to be very cool, exciting movies.

I kind of am. May give it a rent. The next one is out in March I believe.

You should. At least the first one with Andrew Garfield and Rebecca Hall, which, while certainly a part of the overall tapestry, can also be enjoyed as a standalone thriller.

I thought they were all connected, and since I heard the others weren't as good I lost interest in watching all of them. Maybe I'll give the first a chance though.

They're connected in the sense they're set in the same town and involve the same crimes, but they're set over several years. I'd argue the first and second (which is just as good as the first) could be enjoyed as standalone films. The third, however, does definitely require having seen the first two.

All of the titles I wanted were on waits on Netflix and Blockbuster Online has Nurse Jackie and Weeds on order so I got sent a bunch of stuff from both that I didn't really want . And my video store doesn't have FISH TANK, so I decided to blind buy it from Amazon. It's supposed to arrive Friday. Hope it's worth it.
