 Liam Neeson to receive a $20 million paychek for Taken 3 "Not long after the incredible success of Taken 2, it was revealed that work was underway to bring Taken 3 to theaters. Today, Deadline confirms that Liam Neeson is nearly set to return and will be paid nearly $20 million to do so.
Robert Mark Kamen and Luc Besson will again provide the screenplay for the third film which, as Kamen noted last year will offer a new twist on the franchise formula.

It was Liam Neeson kicking ass afterall, just what audiences wanted, I suppose (I liked it much less than the first). I think the third, if marketed well, can do $110-115 million domestically. And $350+ million worldwide again.

That's really a testament to how loved Taken is, because I also will not completely reject a Taken 3, although I feel it will become the new Transporter series for ridiculousness, both with Besson involved, it's only a matter of time.
