http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=76993 Lionsgate has picked this up and it's looking like it might be getting released October 28th. Lionsgate had been planning on releasing the horror film Dibbuk Box in that spot, but then it moved to January 6th, and speculation is that it's so Cabin in the Woods can take its place. Sounds good to me. I'm much more interested in this film than Dibbuk Box. Should be a great Halloween! |

As predicted, the latest incarnation of the more than century old recurring 3D fad is dying out yet again. I'm sure it'll be back like clockwork in 30 years just like it always is (1890's, 1920's, 1950's, 1980's, 2010's) to suck in another generation with a couple of years of eye crossing BO squeezing exploitation, but until then... good riddance. |

Supposedly it could come out October 28th. Perfect! I'm STOKED to see this particularly property get out of development hell. Everything I've heard makes me think this will be a funny and clever horror-comedy filled with some great monsters. Here's hoping! |

Considering it stars Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, this would be the perfect year to release it. With Lionsgate picking it up I don't see them passing up the chance to release it this year. |

Lionsgate has an action movie called Safe opening in the spot. Stupid not to release a horror movie there. There currently isn't a horror movie for October 28th weekend. |
